适应症
用于各科检查、处置、小手术的表面麻醉和润滑止痛。
用法用量
1.胃镜检查或食管扩张：可将本品10～20毫升含在咽喉部位，大约5分钟后咽下或滴于患者舌根部，令患者作吞咽动作，立即起麻醉作用。同时将本品涂于胃镜管或扩张器的表面(起润滑作用)即可操作。 作咽喉或声带检查时，可用上述方法进行。
2.拔牙：拔牙后将本品滴于拔牙处，即可起止痛作用。如牙痛难忍又不能马上拔除时，可用本品作暂时止痛作用。
3.男性尿道插管：先将尿道口洗净消毒将软管插入尿道，将本品挤入(10～20毫升)用阴茎夹夹住2分钟后即可插入膀胱镜等器械进行镜检或检查、处置。 导尿方法同上。用于女性尿道时基本方法同上。
4.妇科阴道检查：基本方法同上，同时可在阴道镜或其他器械上涂本品适量，以增加润滑减少阴道损伤。用于人工流产时，可将本品插入到宫颈口，将本品挤在宫颈上即可，2分钟左右宫颈即可松弛。
5.肛裂：直接将本品涂于肛门上即可。
不良反应
可有过敏反应发生；剂量过大，吸收过快可致中毒反应，应立即停药并给予相应救治。
禁忌
1、对本品和苯甲酸酯类局麻有过敏史者禁用。
2、心肾功能不全患者禁用。
3、重症肌无力患者禁用。
注意事项
1.为避免使用本品后发生过敏反应，故在应用本品时应注意密切观察患者用药后的状态反应；尽量采用较低浓度及较小剂量给药。
2.本品不可作为丁氧普鲁卡因滴眼液的替代品在眼科使用。
3.对以下患者，不能合用血管收缩剂（如肾上腺素、去甲肾上腺素等）：
（1）对血管收缩剂有过敏史者。
（2）有高血压、动脉硬化、心功能不全、甲状腺机能亢进、糖尿病及血管痉挛性疾病者。

遮光、密封保存。
