适应症
本品改善2型糖尿病患者餐后高血糖（仅限用于经饮食、运动疗法不能有效控制血糖的患者或在饮食、运动疗法的基础上加用α-葡萄糖苷酶抑制剂后仍不能有效控制血糖的患者）。
用法用量
1.餐前5分钟内口服。 2.通常成人每次10mg（2片），每日3次,可根据患者的治疗效果酌情调整剂量。
不良反应
据国外文献报道:在临床试验总病例1142例中，报告发生不良反应245例(21.5%)。主要为低血糖症状(5.8%)，其他包括腹胀(1.7%)，便秘(1.2%)，腹泻(1.1%)等消化道症状以及头痛(1.0%)等。此外，临床检查值异常在总病例1137例中出现245例(21.5%)。主要包括丙酮酸升高(6.4%)，γ-GTP升高(4.1%)，乳酸升高(2.9%)，ALT(GPT)升高(2.8%)，游离脂肪酸升高(2.1%)等。
禁忌
下列患者应禁用本品:1. 严重酮症，糖尿病性昏迷或昏迷前期，1型糖尿病患者(因必须输液及使用胰岛素迅速降低高血糖，所以不适于使用本品)。2. 严重感染，围手术期，重度外伤患者(因必须使用胰岛素迅速控制血糖，所以不适于使用本品)。3. 对本品成份有过敏史的患者。4. 妊娠妇女或有妊娠可能的妇女。
注意事项
1. 本品可能导致低血糖症状，从事高空作业，汽车驾驶的患者使用时应注意。如出现低血糖症状，可使用蔗糖.葡萄糖或饮用富含葡萄糖的饮料等方法处理。但是，在联合使用α-葡萄糖苷酶抑制剂引起低血糖时，因α-葡萄糖苷酶抑制剂会延迟二糖类的消化吸收，故不得给予蔗糖，而应采取给予葡萄糖的处理措施。 2. 本品给药过程中应定期检查血糖，密切观察，本品给药2～3个月效果仍不明显可考虑变更治疗方法。 3. 本品给药过程中存在需要停药或减量的情况，此外，还可能由于患者不重视或合并感染等因素导致效果不足或失效。故应在密切观察食物摄取量.血糖值.以及是否存在感染因素等的基础上，即时决定是否适合继续给药，选择给药剂量.以及更适当的药物等。 4. 本品可迅速促进胰岛素分泌。其作用位点与磺酰脲类制剂相同，但与磺酰脲类制剂对血糖控制的协同作用及安全性尚未确认，故不可与磺酰脲类制剂合用。 5. 本品与胰岛素增敏剂(如盐酸吡格列酮)及双胍类制剂等合用的有效性及安全性尚未确立。
