适应症
1.主要用于常规抗癫痫药物不能取得满意疗效的局限性发作，也用于局限性发作并继而全身化的癫痫患者的治疗。 2.加巴喷丁已成为第一个被批准用于治疗所有神经性疼痛疾病的此类药物。 3.该产品被英国批准治疗所有神经性疼痛，包括糖尿病性神经病、疱疹后神经痛、脊髓损伤痛、幼肢痛和神经性背痛。
用法用量
1.12岁以上的癫痫患者：初始剂量为每次300mg，一日3次；如未达到效果，剂量可逐渐增加，多数病人在900mg-1800mg(3-6片)之间有效。一般900-1200mg/天效果明显。达到1800mg-3600mg/天，病人也可以较好耐受。 2.3-12岁的癫痫患者剂量酌减，两次服药间隔不宜超过12小时，若要停药，则至少需1周以上时间逐渐减量。
不良反应
包括嗜睡、眩晕、行走不稳和疲劳感。这些副作用常见于用药早期，只要从小剂量开始，缓慢地增加剂量，多数人都能耐受，儿童偶而会急躁易怒。停药以后会消失。
禁忌
过敏者禁用。
