适应症
对蛔虫、钩虫、蛲虫和粪类圆线虫病有较好疗效。由于本品单剂量有效率较高，故适于集体治疗。对班氏丝虫、马来丝虫和盘尾丝虫成虫及微丝蚴的活性较乙胺嗪为高，但远期疗效较差。
用法用量
①驱蛔虫：口服，成人1.5~2.5mg/kg，空腹或睡前顿服、小儿剂量为2~3mg/kg。②驱钩虫：口服，1.5~2.5mg/kg，每晚1次，连服3日。③治疗丝虫病：4~6mg/kg，分2~3次服，连服3日。
不良反应
一般轻微。有恶心、呕吐、腹痛等，少数可出现味觉障碍、疲惫、头晕、头痛、关节酸痛、神志混乱、失眠、发热、流感样症群、血压降低、脉管炎、皮疹、光敏性皮炎等，偶见蛋白尿，个别可见粒细胞减少、血小板减少，少数甚至发生粒细胞缺乏症（常为可逆性），常发生于风湿病或肿瘤患者。另尚可引起即刻型和Arthus氏过敏反应，可能系通过刺激T细胞而引起的特应性反应。个体病例可出现共济失调，感觉异常或视力模糊。
禁忌
肝肾功能、肝炎活动期、妊娠早期或原有血吸虫病者禁用。
注意事项
①类风湿性关节炎患者服用本品后易诱发粒细胞缺乏症；②干燥综合征患者慎用；③类风湿性关节炎和干燥综合征患者接受本品治疗，第一周每日50mg、第二周每日100mg、第三周每日150mg后，多数发生副作用，如红斑丘疹、关节痛加重伴肿胀、肌痛、流感样症群、失眠、神志混乱等，再予以攻击量后，上述症状又可重现。
贮藏
密封，在阴凉干燥处保存。
