适应症
1. 本品适用于怀疑为链球菌、肺炎球菌和金黄色葡萄球菌等敏感菌感染所引起的严重感染性疾病的治疗，也可用于对青霉素过敏的或临床医师判定认为青霉素类药物不适用的感染性疾病的治疗;如呼吸道感染、皮肤软组织感染、女性生殖道感染和盆腔感染及腹腔感染等。2. 本品可能导致抗生素所致的伪膜性肠炎的危险，医师在选择本药时应当考虑感染的情况下和是否有较低毒性药物适用的可能性。(如红霉素)林可霉素不宜用于轻微的细菌感染，也不宜用于病毒感染。
用法用量
静脉滴注，每次滴注时间至少1小时，给药剂量如下:1. 成人:静脉给药的剂量取决于感染的严重程度。严重感染时可每8～12小时给600mg到1g的林可霉素，重度感染时，可进一步增加剂量。在危及生命的情况下，给药剂量可达到8g每天。这些给药的剂量还可按临床的需要而重复给药，但每天的极限量不超过8g林可霉素。2. 大于1个月的幼儿:10～20mg/kg/day(5～10mg/kg/day)。根据感染严重程度的不同而有剂量的不同，给药时可参照成人用法分次给药。3. 肾功能不良患者:对于有严重肾功能损伤的患者，如果有必要使用林可霉素，适宜的剂量为正常肾功能患者剂量的25%～30%。
