适应症
本品用于预防和治疗各种类型癫痫。
用法用量
口服。一日0.6～1.2g，分3次服用。儿童口服一日10～30mg/kg，分2～3次服用。
不良反应
1.治疗早期常出现头昏，恶心，呕吐，嗜睡，乏力，食欲增加或减少等反应，一般可自行消失。
2.可引起月经周期改变。
3.较少见短暂的脱发，头痛，过敏，手颤，多梦，不安和急躁。
4.长期服用偶见胰腺炎及急性肝坏死。
5.可使血小板减少引起紫癜，出血和出血时间延长，应定期检查血象。
6.对肝功能有损害，服用2个月要检查肝功能。
7.偶有走路不稳，视力模糊，眼胀眼花，耳鸣，乳房增大。
8.偶有听力下降和可逆性听力损坏。
禁忌
1.有药源性黄疸个人史或家族史者禁用。
2.有肝病或明显肝功能损害者禁用。
3.对本品过敏者禁用。
注意事项
1.有血液病，肝病史，肾功能损害，器质性脑病患者慎用。
2.停药时应逐渐减量以防再次出现发作;取代其他抗惊厥药物时，本品应逐渐增加用量，而被取代药应逐渐减少用量。
3.外科手术或其他急症治疗时应考虑可能遇到的时间延长，或中枢神经抑制作用的增强。
4.用药前和用药期间应定期作全血细胞(包括血小板)计数，肝肾功能检查。
5.对诊断的干扰，尿酮试验可出现假阳性，甲状腺功能试验可能受影响。
6.使乳酸脱氢酶，丙氨酸氨基转移酶，门冬氨酸氨基转移酶轻度升高并提示无症状性肝脏中毒。血清胆红素可能升高提示潜在的严重肝脏中毒。
7.出现意识障碍，肝功能异常，胰腺炎等严重副反应时，应停药。
贮藏
密封，干燥处保存。
