适应症
1.用于缓解或预防各年龄组成人和3岁以上儿童的慢性支气管哮喘或哮喘持续状态。 (1)哮喘持续状态后的维持治疗能有效地防止再次发作。 (2)与β2受体激动剂或糖皮质激素合用其疗效比单用任何一种药物更佳，且副作用降低，耐受性更好。 2.也适用于慢性支气管炎和肺气肿伴有的可逆性支气管痉挛的症状。 3.是慢阻肺病人（COPD）冬季正常生活的保障，尤其对夜间发作的哮喘更适宜。
用法用量
1.吞服整个胶囊，或将胶囊中小丸倒在半食匙温水或流体食物中吞服。 2.成人一次0.2～0.3g（2～3粒），每12小时1次; 3.1～9岁（1粒）儿童一次0.1g; 4.9～12岁儿童一次0.2g（2粒）; 5.12～16岁少年一次0.2g（2粒）。
不良反应
不良反应与个体对茶碱清除速率的快慢有关:
1.毒性常出现在药物血清浓度15～20μg/ml时；
2.当少数病人茶碱血药浓度超过20μg/ml时，常见头痛、恶心、呕吐和失眠，较少见的有消化不良、震颤和眩晕。多为轻至中度，重度罕见。
3.当血药浓度超过40μg/ml时，可发生发热、失水、惊厥等，严重者甚至呼吸、心跳停止。
禁忌
对茶碱不能耐受的病人禁用，未治愈的潜在癫痫患者及急性心肌梗死伴有血压降低者禁用。
注意事项
1.不可咀嚼或服用，不应超过医生处方剂量；
2.本品不适用于哮喘发作状态或急性支气管痉孪发作的患者；
3.茶碱可致心律失常可使原有的心律失常恶化，对患者心律异常或心律有任何显著变化者均应进行监测和研究；
4.有消化性溃疡，肝肾功能不全、肝病、任何原因引起的心力衰竭、持续高烧的及使用某些药物的患者、有低氧血症、高血压患者应慎用。并注意监测血清茶碱浓度。
贮藏
密封，置阴凉处。
